2. Service Modifications

Goa Taxi App reserves the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue services with 30 days notice
  • Update driver verification requirements
  • Change platform features and functionality
  • Update safety and security measures
  • Modify these terms with prior notification

Geographic Restrictions

Services are currently available only in select regions of Goa. Attempting to book outside service areas constitutes a violation.

Passenger Terms of Service

Account Requirements

1.1 Account Creation

  • Must provide accurate, current information
  • One account per individual
  • No impersonation permitted
  • Must maintain account security
  • Immediate notification of unauthorized access

1.2 Account Termination

  • We may suspend accounts for violations
  • Users may terminate accounts anytime
  • Outstanding balances must be settled

Booking Policies

2.1 Direct Booking

  • Price negotiation between driver and passenger
  • Multiple vehicle types available
  • Tour packages and hourly rentals offered
  • Airport transfers and local rides available

2.2 Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation within 5 minutes of booking
  • 50% fare charge for cancellations after 5 minutes
  • Full fare charge for no-shows
  • Weather-related cancellations exempt
  • Driver no-shows result in account credit

Passenger Conduct

3.1 Prohibited Actions

  • No smoking in vehicles
  • No alcohol consumption without driver consent
  • No illegal substances
  • No damage to vehicles
  • No harassment of drivers
  • No weapons permitted

3.2 Expected Behavior

  • Respect driver's vehicle
  • Use seatbelts at all times
  • Follow driver's safety instructions
  • Maintain appropriate conduct
  • Pay all applicable fares

Zero Tolerance Policy

Violations of conduct policies will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement. Drivers reserve the right to refuse service or end rides for safety concerns.

  • 100% of negotiated fare
  • No platform commission
  • Direct payment from passengers

2.2 Payment Terms

  • Immediate payment receipt
  • No payment delays

Driver Conduct

3.1 Prohibited Actions

  • No discrimination of any kind
  • No unsafe driving practices
  • No unauthorized fare increases
  • No unauthorized cancellations

1. Payment Methods

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, RuPay (3% processing fee)
  • Digital Wallets: Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay (no fee)
  • UPI: All major UPI providers (no fee)
  • Net Banking: Selected Indian banks (₹10 fee)
  • Cash: Available for select ride types (receipt required)

2. Pricing Structure

  • Base Fare: ₹50-100 depending on vehicle type
  • Distance: ₹12-20 per km (vehicle dependent)
  • Time: ₹1-3 per minute in slow traffic
  • Peak Pricing: 1.2x-2.0x during high demand
  • Service Fee: 10-15% of total fare
  • Tolls/Parking: Passed through at cost

Refund Policy

  • Driver Cancellations: Full refund within 2 hours
  • User Cancellations: Refund minus cancellation fee
  • Service Issues: Case-by-case review (7 day resolution)
  • Duplicate Charges: Verified refunds within 3 days
  • Processing Time: 5-7 business days for bank transfers
